Perfect Property Solutions Limited has made a donation of K3 million Malawi kwacha to Surveyors Institute of Malawi (SIM) ahead of it’s Continuous Professional Development (CPD) annual general meeting to be held in Salima from 5-6 October, 2023.
Speaking during a cheque presentation held in Lilongwe, Human Resources and Business Development Manager at Perfect Property Solutions Limited, Patricia Bisika said as an institution they believe in corporate social responsibility, so as this conference is important not only for surveyors but for everyone, they believe that there contribution will boost up the institution as they also have members working within the institution.
“You know Surveyors Institute of Malawi have got contractors, land economists, and different professionals, all of them are very crucial to the development of this country, not only cities so we believe that Surveyors Institute of Malawi is not only for surveyors but also it is there for the goodness of this country and the professionals in the institution do not only save there profession but they are also saving us as a country, so we believe that sponsoring or helping something to this institution will go a long way in assisting this country,” she said.
In his remarks, Surveyors Institute of Malawi, Secretary General, QS Bernard Mleta, commended Perfect Property Solutions Limited for the timely support by saying that as an institution they did not have enough resources to cater for every plan which they have as this year alone they have three sessions which demand alot of resources but with this support they are very thankful.
“Considering that Perfect Solutions work within our space, they are in land economy chapter on what they do, these are our members which are now giving back to the institution so that we can advance professionalism we are talking about,” Mleta said.
This year’s CPD annual general meeting will be held between 6-8 October in Salima under the theme “The role of surveyors, building smart cities, 2063 agenda perspective”.
