“If you go to Malawi today, you will find that the whole place is a construction site of various road and rail infrastructural projects, because these are going to be crucial in the movement of people and goods in and out of Malawi during the investment revolution that is coming. If you go to Malawi today, you will find that we are implementing various energy projects to triple our electricity generation capacity in the next few years, because this will power the industrialization and digitization revolution we are preparing Malawi for going forward” Said Malawi leader while encouraging different investors to consider getting a head start on the opportunities in Malawi for a win-win partnership.

President Chakwera then assured the potential investors that the country’s economy will soon stabilize and be attractive, hence a need to join the journey it has embarked on towards the new destination.

Regional and Continental markets such as the African Market through the Southern African Development Community (SADC), Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), and the African Continental Free Trade Area.

Malawi is a land of opportunities, the Malawi Investment and Trade Centre (M ITC), our One-Stop Centre is here to share specific opportunities for you to explore and exploit”
