Malawi President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has hailed Malawi’s business investment kingpin Dr Napoleon Dzombe.

Dzombe has stunned Malawi and the entire world where he has created a lake out of dry land something which is new and has never happened anywhere in Malawi.

The lake is called Lake Dzombe which stands in front of his newly built Kalipano Hotel which Sunbird is managing.

Speaking when opening the hotel, Chakwera urged Malawians to emulate the life of Dr Dzombe.

That is why he described the function as a celebration.

“We gather here to celebrate the development of Malawi by a distinguished Malawian. This majestic Hotel is not a franchise imported from abroad. It is the actualization of a colourful dream by one of our own, and it is such an honour to be here to witness it,” he said.

Chakwera said he was happy to note that Dr Napoleon Dzombe is no stranger to performing wonders, since most Malawians already know of his prowess as a farmer in the agricultural sector, a philanthropist in the health and social sector, an entrepreneur in the business sector, a trainer in the education sector, and a food processor in the manufacturing sector.

“But I think it is safe to say
that the feat he has accomplished here as a developer in
the tourism sector deserves special attention as the
crown jewel of his illustrious career as an investor, ” he said.

Speaking during the same event, Dzombe while commending president for the good vision, pledged to continue partnership with Government to ensure delivery of bankable projects.

Dzombe also urged Government to provide good road to the project.
