The Muslim women would want to link the Islamic scriptures which talks about climate change,” she said .
Tambala added that Islam is a religion that emphasizes the importance of
environmental stewardship and the protection of the natural world.
“Islam teaches that the earth is a sacred trust from Allah (God) and it is the responsibility of humankind to

She said Climate change, which is caused by human activities such as deforestation and the burning of fossil fuels, is a clear
violation of this trust.
“Muslims are therefore called upon to
take action to mitigate climate change and to protect the earth for future generations. This includes adopting sustainable practices, conserving natural resources,
reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and promoting environmental justice, ”
She added: “And do not corrupt the earth after its reformation, and call upon Him in fear and hope. Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good” Ndipo
