Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Secretary General Elsenhower Mkaka has expressed gratitude to the Malawi President Dr Lazarus Chakwera for the enormous developments going on across the country despite the numerous challenges being faced.

Mkaka said this in Lilongwe during a development rally which was organized soon after commissioning of Kamuzu Dam 1.

Mkaka said people should learn to appreciate where it is due. Malawi started experiencing challenges from 2015 when the country experienced extended draughts.

From 2015 Malawi has been hit by various natural calamities.

Mkaka said if one has to go in Lilongwe city “Ndithu akasochera” Lilongwe is no longer the same.

During the rally Senior Chief Kalumbu said anyone failing to see what Chakwera is doing is a mad man.

Kalumbu said Llilongwe is wearing a new face despite all these challenges being recorded citing Tropical Cyclone Freddy, Tropical Cyclone Anna , Gombe and Covid – 19.
