The Director of Strategic Planning in the Malawi Congress Party-MCP Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma has called upon people in Chiladzulu district to support MCP for president Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera to fulfill his developmental agendas in the country.
Ng’oma who is also Minister of Homeland Security was speaking on Saturday at a rally he conducted at Mbulumbuzi trading centre in the district.
According to Ng’oma, it is very disheartening that Chiladzulu is still lagging behind in terms of development despite the district producing a lot of political heavy weights.
Ng’oma further advised people in Chiladzulu to support Chakwera for the district and the country at large to develop.
Ng’oma said Chakwera has good development agendas for the country’s development to thrive, citing that among others he has managed to deal with electricity as well as water problems.
Additionally, the strategist disclosed that Chakwera wants to spread development projects in every part of the country without any form of discrimination,hence urging people to be united and support the Chakwera-led administration.
“We want people to be united and support Chakwera because he has good development agendas,every body is supposed to benefit from the national cake in terms of development which Chakwera is perfectly doing ,” Ng’oma said.
Meanwhile, MCP Chairperson responsible for the southern region Peter Simbi has urged all party structures to be active and open doors for other people to join the party.
Some notable figures who attended the rally include; National Director of women Florence Kanyoni, NEC member Charles Joshi, Senior Chief Ntchema and Senior Chief Chitera.
